Description issues@www 2001-03-14 19:13:00 UTC
When attempting to install build 619 on a Red Hat 7.1 (Fisher) machine the installation does not complete. instead of completing it seg faults and crashes. after the crash the openoffice60 directory is intact and when running the soffice executable the 'locale not supported' error appears and it seg faults and dies. this happens every time i've tried to install and on three different machines.

Hello Jack,
Be so kind to give me a little bit more information about red hat 7.1.
Which
- kernel
- glibc was used?
How much ram and disk space was available?

I've tried several Linux distributions and it appears that the installation
fails when I have a Linux distro with GLIBC 2.2x. I have no problem with build
619 on GLIBC 2.1x Linux distros. This failed on Progeny, Mandrake 8.0 beta 1,
the latest Redhat beta ("Fisher). But it works on Redhat 7.0, Mandrake 7.2,
Stormix (RIP) 1.0. (JEB - jebber@mail.com)

Hi Olli,
I think you're working on it.
Perhaps it's double?
