Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 55475
Undo produces crash after copy and paste
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:38:26 UTC
Instructions: Try copying the two paragraphs from the section marked Memory Verse which begin with "Steadfast means.." Highlight all the text in the section marked Introduction and paste the copied paragraphs, then UNDO. That should absolutely crash Write. I tested this three time just now with with repeated crash results. The document and instructions were given to me by Leslie D. Martin. I reproduced the crash very easily twice on OOo 2.0.0 rc 1, official OOo Linux RPMs. I am not sure whether this is related to another issue, such as issue 50346.

Reassigned to ES.
ES->hbrinkm: I sent a crash report with Report id 790474 to this.
Verified that this continues to happen in 2.0.0.1 on Novell SuSE Linux 10 using Novell's official RPMs. I ran the instructions on the attached document and got the same crash. On a project team, another member emailed the group to let the group know that Writer "crashed at least ten times on me, mostly when trying to undo." I suspect that the undo bug is probably this one, but it could be another one.
I can't seem to reproduce anymore with Linux RPMs and 2.0.1 or 2.0m155.
ama took over undo
