i'm not sure where this issue actually belongs and maybe there should be separate issues - for writer, calc and base ? for some reason drawing toolbar in writer, calc and base differs from drawing toolbar in draw & impress - it lacks several buttons : gallery, effects, alignment, arrange. this is very bad from usability standpoint - users expect them to have the same functionality if other buttons are the same (well, at least i definitely do - i tried to find shape rotation ability in writer for quite a long time) this functionality/buttons should be added to apps that miss it now.
something for CJ ?? (AFAIK CJ is the spec owner of toolbar content...)

This is a valid request. It is an expansion to issue 36666, which is about connectors only.
