Description christoph.lukasiak 2005-09-28 16:48:04 UTC
0. install an mozilla with adressbook as default mail/news etc. application
1. insert some adressbook entries
2. install a thunderbird adressbook without overtaking data from mozilla adressbook
3. insert some adress entries (should be visuable different to the mozilla data)
4. create a new data source from the thunderbird adressbook
5. view the tables

-> the mozilla adressbook is in use (should use the thunderbird adressbook)

clu: also in the cws tbab by using the adressbook wizard there is no difference
between the proposed adressbook tables from mozilla and thunderbird (should be,
because they differs)

Using Datei (file?)
Assistent (Wizzard?)
Adress-Datenquelle... (adress-source...?)

there are Radiobuttons (?) for

Mozilla/Netscape,
LDAP ????
outlook ???
Windows-System ???
andere externe Datenquellen (other ssources?)

marking Mozilla/Netscape ->

No Mozilla Adressbook Directories Exist.

(Thunderbird is installed as default Mail/news-client)

Could there be installed another radiobutton for Thunderbird or otherwise could
be searched also for Thunderbird, if no Mozilla and no Netscape Entry exist?

fs->fs: during debugging another issue in this area, I found that this is
probably due to the re-use of profile names: Both Mozilla and Thunderbird have a
profile named "default", but the infrastructure in MNSProfileDiscover.cxx uses
the profile names of *all* products as unique key ...
