Description Unknown 2002-06-03 02:55:00 UTC
Impress does not import a Powerpoint 97 document located on a mounted CD-Rom
drive. I tried opening the file from KDEs Konqueror - Impress gets started
(splash screen) and quits shortly after without failure notice or drawing the
main screen.
I also started Impress (without parameters) from the console, opened a new
presentation and tried to open the file from the file-dialog - again no crash,
no failure notice, Impress is completly unimpressed (as if I've done nothing
at all). There is no output in the console, too.
If I copy the file to a local directory and give me write permissions
everything is fine.
The problem doesn't show up in the Windows version.
