Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 5457
Saving .sxc defined as spreadsheet data source causes errors/crash/lost file
Last modified: 2003-09-08 16:55:29 UTC
When a .sxc file is defined as a data source, editing that file and saving it causes errors, sometimes crashes, and sometimes the file to be lost. This can be easily reproduced. 1) Create a new .sxc with a few lines of text. 2) Define a Spreadsheet Data Source using the new .sxc 3) Edit and save the .sxc file in Calc I've gotten errors anywhere from user permission problems, to general input/output errors. Sometimes it crashes and my file is erased. If you remove the data source and restart Calc, the file can be edited and saved with no problems.
I'll have a look, Peter
I'm also having this problem. I'm new to this kind of error/trouble reporting. How can I tell when/if this is resolved and how/if I can fix/work-around this on OO.o 1.0.1? Thanks.
Reassigned to OC.
Fixed in OOo1.0.1
