Description pavel 2005-09-11 09:30:59 UTC
Hi,

ready mileastones are announced via mails to cws-announce. Can we also make RSS
feed for them and integrate it into OOoPlanet?

I do that manually right now, see e.g.
http://blog.janik.cz/archives/2005-09-06T23_11_45.html

but it would be nice if it is automated.

I already did the similar thing for issues in IssueZilla.

Bernd, will this enhancement make it to your task list in the near future?

BEI->ST: it is defintively on my tasklist for the very near future

Of course - we could generate this data from the update e-mail to the
cws-announce list, but ... ;-)
It'd be most pleasant if we could have:

Milestone <foo> announced:
    * foo - add foo support
    * perform01 - improve doc load performance

etc. - ie. a short name & the short descr. of the cws [ missing from the E-mail ]

Also - I believe in the past there was an RSS feed - but (unfortunately) the
dates were sufficiently badly formed, that we couldn't parse them / the planet
thing barfed on them.

The requested feed is available with the link
http://eis.services.openoffice.org/EIS2/cws.rss.CWSAnnounceNewsFeed/mws. There
are 2 other new RSS feeds available in EIS and the date format on the existing
one has been fixed. See http://eis.services.openoffice.org for a list of all feeds.
