The Issue 40390 is not completed, now effect option dialog is OK. But in fact
"hide on next animation" CHANGE to "hide after animation" and "hide after
animation" CHANGE to "hide on next animation" when use F5 SLIDE SHOW.

I was able to reproduce this bug. I am running OpenOffice 1.9.125 on a Windows
XP Home SP2 machine. I will add a presentation that shows this shortly. While
creating this document, OpenOffice crashed several times. I had to proceed very
carefully to save this correctly. The last time that it crashed (the time I
have the most information about), I had only added a text box. I saved, and the
program crashed on me. I am not sure whether or not this is related to the
animation problem. The only time Impress has crashed on me today (and I have
been testing several bugs in Impress today) was when I tested this animation
issue. I hope this little bit of information helps you track down this bug.

@cl: here's an easy one for you. just swap the code for the respective UI
actions, I'd say ;-)
Comment 7 clippka 2005-09-13 08:36:09 UTC
@cl->cgu: this is already fixed with issue 41546 in cws impress49. didn't you
verify it yourself?
Comment 8 jlcheng 2005-09-14 02:06:29 UTC
