Reproduce Steps:1. Select "Format->Cell" to invoke cell format editing dialog. Expected Result:In this dialog, check each format category, all format should be match the locale setting Actual Result:The number of the text and the number of the number can't conversion to each other
Hi redoffice, I'm sorry but I don't understand your problem. I had a look at the cell formatting dialog in my German version of OOo1.9.125 on WinXP SP2 and it looks OK, including the different locale settings. Maybe it would help if you attached a screenshot that shows the problem and/or describe one specific example of what's wrong. Also, what locale (what language version) are you working with? What do you mean with "The number of the text and the number of the number can't conversion to each other"?
Hi, if you would change a value separated by a dot to one separated by a comma, you can just change the locale and the separator changes automatically. If you have a value formatted as text and will change it to a numerical value, just format the cell as as numeric and remove the apostrophe in front of the numbers. This is not a bug. Closing invalid as we got no response and as far as I understand the description this is not an Issue. Frank
