This is tied to Issue 5341.

If a spell check is manually performed repeatedly (I was attempting to try and 
find out why both autocorrect and a manual spell check did not spot an 
incorrectly spelled word in an imported document), the spell check can go into 
an infinite loop, will not complete and will maximize processor utilization at 
100% thus requiring me to kill the application.  I have managed to achieve 
this twice now.  It does not happen in a consistent manner (i.e. I cannot 
definitely state that it will occur on the third spell check attempt, for 
example).

As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved duplicate
issues. Please see this posting for details. First step in IssueZilla is
unfortunately to set them to verified.
