If you have an unexpected system shutdown, system hang, power failure etc so 
that StarOffice is not closed down correctly when you restart the system and 
reload your files all the Window-Freeze settings have gone and you must now go 
to each and every sheet and re-set them.

First of all: A system crash can't be handled by any software.  In you case it 
is possible that OpenOffice has lost a setting in TOOLS-OPTIONS-GENERAL-SAVE-
DOKUMENT VIEW. Please check before reloading the document after a crash if this 
setting is activated.
