Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 52518
Exported flash crashes player
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:08:16 UTC
Exported flash causing player crashed: 1. Open the attachment 2. Select menu "File" -> "Export" and select "Flash" format 3. Open the exported flash file by Macromedia flash player or player plug-in 4. Click next to scroll through the presentation. 5. Player crashes on the 4th page. What is interesting is that if you delete 2nd page from the presentation and regenerate the flash file, the player will again crash on the 4th page instead of the 3rd page.
Created attachment 28249 [details] Document that simulates the problem
I checked with 2.0 (1.9.m113) German version WIN XP: [680m113(Build8930)] When I start the imported ppt, everything works, but the change between the different views is incredible slow (compared) with 1.1.4.). I exported to swf. After Doubleclick in WIN-Explorer the Flash was opened in my MOZILLA with Flash plugin (as expected). I was able to step forward in the presentation by mouseclick, but when I tried to change from "page" 21 to 22, my MOZILLA 1.6 crashed. I also checked with 1.1.4 (German) WIN XP: [645m52 (Build 8824)]: presentation view worked much better than with 2.0 @ waiterevo: Can you contribute an original OOo presentation that causes a crash, too? Exported .swf seems to be identical with result from 2.0 (file size differs a little), and same crash result with exported flash.

The exported flash file crashes mozilla, firefox and even IrfanView. Reassigned.
