Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 51694
I cannot save my spreadsheet in the csv format in OO2.0 beta
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:13:47 UTC
Save-as for spreadsheet in version 1... used to allow me to save the file as text, using the CSV format. In version 2.0 beta, I can no longer do this. Export does not offer the option either. My programs use this data, and they look for the text format, so I am in big trouble. Shall I reload the older version of Open Office? Although I have 10+ years of C++ programming, I have no experience with your code. I am a little reluctant to jump in. Richard
I have the same problem using build 1.9.79.2. I have found a workaround: one can delete all sheets in the spreadsheet except the one to export. Then everything works as expected.
One more observation: Everything appears to work fine. That is, the Save As dialog comes up and you select Text CSV and enter a filename. Then it notifies you that not all formatting information can be saved in this format and you say OK. Then the filter options dialog comes up. No error messages are given, yet the target file is not created.
move component 'test' -> 'spreadsheet', 'test' is for testing bugzilla database
