Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 50956
Hyperlinks to locations inside the text document in Writer are not working
Last modified: 2005-06-20 11:22:11 UTC
The problem is about creating hyperlinks to locations inside the own text document in Writer. I followed the OpenOffice 2 User Guide Draft, so i am pretty sure i did it the right way. I created several headings in the document (using styles Heading 1, Heading 2 and Heading 3), and then tried to create a Table of Contents automatically from Writer. The Table of Contents itself was created perfectly, just like i would like it to be. However, the hyperlinks to the locations i wanted were almost all broken. All of them took me somewhere, but only a very few took me to the location (assigned to a Heading) i wanted. In order to check if this was a specific problem with the Table of Contents, i created several hyperlinks to some of the Headings and the result was the same, so i think the Table of Contents is ok, and only the Hyperlinks have an issue. I tried to do this on build 680m109 both on the Linux(using Mandrake 10) and on Windows (using XP Pro) versions, so i think it has nothing to do with the Operating System version. I have the document i used in the tests, and would like to attach it, but this page i am using to submit the issue does not have an attach option. Please contact me about anything you need to know about this issue, i will take no longer than 24 hours to answer. Overall, i am really amazed with what you have achieved and expect OpenOffice 2 to have a great impact on the market. Although i have MS Office XP at home and at work, i use OpenOffice 2 most of the time. Congratulations again!

Reassigned to ES.
It's duplicate of issue 29858. To avoid this, delete all plain text numberings written for each headings (1.2, 4. etc) and use the auto naumbering under (Tools - Outline numbering / Ferramentas - Numeração da estrutura de tópicos). *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 29858 ***
