Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 50929
RTF: inline image in header placed wrongly due to wrong paragraph indent
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:22:23 UTC
A simple document with image in header that extends .5 inches outside of left and right margins of the document does not render the same as WORD. The image is not stretched out past the left margein. It ends up .5 inches to the left of the right margin. Example, the left and right margins are set 1 inch from the side of the paper. On the document the first line indent, the hanging indent and the lert indent are all set to the left margin. THe right indent is set to the right margin. For the Header Footer, the first line indent has been moved to 1/2 inch to the left of the left margin and the right indent is moved 1/2 inch to the right of the right margin. Insert and image into the header and have it stretched to the first line indent of the header and the right indent. This was set up in Microsoft Word. When it is opened in Open Office, the image start at the First line indent of the header but the right side is 1 inch for the right indent of the header. In Word it goes to the right indent.

MRU->FLR: the graphic is not placed "centered" in the header, because the negative paragraph indent has not ben imported here. If the left indent is set manually to -1,4 cm, it looks better.
