Description umr5174 2005-05-31 14:58:51 UTC
In a text document, I make the formula
A csub {x<1}
and save the file as equ_csub.odt text document, then as equ_csub.doc MS Word 97
document, then close it and reopen the MS Word 97 document:
I get a reverse question mark, whose formula is:
} {}

The same holds for csup.

Adding Regina to CC.
Comment 4 umr5174 2005-07-11 14:34:37 UTC
This bug is still in OOo 1.9.113 .
Comment 5 Regina Henschel 2005-07-11 15:29:53 UTC
I can confirm it on WinXP with OOo1.9.113.
The export is wrong. First the formula is ugly in Word97. If you doubleclick it
for editing it looks better. But still there is something wrong. The A is to
small and you cannot edit it in Word97.
The reimport of the doc-file, which was generated with OOo, is broken as described.
Comment 6 umr5174 2005-07-22 17:54:01 UTC
It works with OOo 1.9.118 . To my mind, his bug can be closed.
Comment 7 thomas.lange 2005-08-03 08:55:05 UTC
Due to resource limitation this will be fixed for successor of OO 2.0.
Comment 8 thomas.lange 2009-09-15 13:21:48 UTC
tl->mru: Looking through old stuff: Can you confirm that this one can be closed?
Comment 9 michael.ruess 2009-09-16 13:54:04 UTC
MRU->TL: this still happens. The MathType conversion must be enabled for this;
then the re-import will result in content "} {}"as described above.
