in page style editing window (or format->page) there is a dropdown box 'page 
layout'.

changes are reflected by small preview at upper right corner of this window. 
this preview is not correctly updated when changing from any of "mirrored", 
"only left" and "only right" to "right and left" - single page is displayed on 
top of previous preview.
