Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 48853
Basic-IDE Editor displays titel one level to high. Inconsistent.
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:31:33 UTC
The title e.g. 'My Makros & Dialogs' is shown twice: -as selector title and -as top title 'My Makros & Dialogs' - OpenOffice.org Basic Other application are displaying a filename; in Basic one should display the ModulName 'myModule'! Without seeing the aktual workplace it is easy to destroy a working makro (a lot of are looking simular).
reassigned to jsk
jsk->tbe: What do you think? I don't see a serious problem here. We have no spec covering this, have we?
set priority to P4
TBE->BH: Please evaluate. Do we have a specification for application titles?
Hello Thomas, yes, there is a specification about naming in caption bars. It can be found here: http://specs.openoffice.org/appwide/module_name_in_caption_bar/module_name_in_caption_bar.sxw. I set this issue to your owner to get it considered for OO.o later. As discussed the caption now has the following format (example): OpenOffice.org Macros & Dialogs.Depot.Currency - OpenOffice.org Basic.
hi Pls take pity with us :-) 'Depot.Currency' would be enough and '-OpenOffice.org Basic' could be: OOo but 'OpenOffice.org Macros & Dialogs.Depot.Currency - OpenOffice.org Basic' is too long for a editor window using the half of my sreen. Wolfgang
TBE->AB: As discussed to you.
