Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 4860
Diagrams saved as part of a writer file get mangled.
Last modified: 2003-09-08 16:56:16 UTC
If diagrams created with the OO Draw get cut&pasted into a OO Writer file they look OK on the screen. However after saving and opening the text file again the loose connectors (not connected to objects) get "really loose" and displaced. I am attaching some files to show the bug.
Created attachment 1644 [details] A diagram containing some connectors in the right place
Created attachment 1645 [details] The diagram right after being cut&pasted into a new text file. Connectors look OK.
Created attachment 1646 [details] After saving the text file and openning it again. Connectors get displaced!
Neven, thanks for posting this issue. As a workaround, use the Paste Special feature and paste in the drawing as an OOo Drawing. Duplicated on Win NT 4.0 SP6a, OOo 1.0.1.
Having the same/similar problem with all kinds of objects (oo text- boxes, Visio-OLEs,...) on a Win2000 PC with OO 1.01. Large Document.
Looks like the problem is fixed in developer build 643. Neven, if possible could you please check to see if 643 fixes the issue you mentioned?
SBA->Neven: Please do so and comment. Thx.
Sorry for the delay guys. I checked in the Linux version of 643C and this seems fixed. Thank you for the good work! Cheers!
This task is fixed or worked in OOo 1.1 beta2.
