Description mhofman 2005-04-27 09:24:18 UTC
Using Windows XP (SP2), MS Word 2000 (SP1).

Opening the attached document (created in MS Word) in OO, creates the following
conversion error.

In MS Word there are 5 pages, this changes to 10 in OO.
This is due to the fact that each page in Word is a table with two rows. In OO
there seems to be a page break after each row.

Forgot to mention that it might be related to 11490.

MRU->FME: it looks like a problem of formatting the document. The tables on page
two and 3 (in WW) are moved onto an extra page, though it looks, that they
should fit onto the pages. Problem is, that on page one not all paragraphs will
fit onto the page; one must break onto next page. Please have a look.

I can confirm it also happens in the current beta version 1.9.95.

In OO 3.0.0 the problem seems to be fixed.
The tables looks exactly the same!

Only two little differents occure in the text formatting (new issues?):
1) In the left most header cell is the text "Page 1 / 5 \t -1-" where "\t" is a
tabulator. In Word 2002 the (useless) "-1-" is not visible (so it is a "bug" of
the document author in word), but in OO 3.0.0 it is visible.
2) On the second page in the middle column is an additional text box with "Step
1: Reception planning". In OO 3.0.0 this text box is alligned more left and top
than in word.
