Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 48231
meaningful description required
Last modified: 2012-01-27 15:45:42 UTC
please add meaningful description to a.m. URL!
Thanks. Will be added today.
Hmm, insufficient rights. I guess we'll have to ask Louis about this. The description should say: "Georgian native language discussions and material in the native language"
I'd like to add this... but where? to Issue tracker descriptions? What is meant by a.m. URL? louis
Hello Louis, visiting http://www.openoffice.org/issues/enter_bug.cgi (logged in at OOo), the site shows the list of components together with descriptions of each one. The Native-Lang project components normally have a description like "French native language discussions and material in the native language" (for fr component). ka comonent, which is for Georgian Native-Lang project, has no description, though its description should say "Georgian native language discussions and material in the native language". While at it, it would be nice to add descriptions to other fresh native-lang project components. Theese are: cy (Welsh), fa (Persian), ga (Irish), gd (Gaelic), ml (Malayalam), mr (Marathi), pa (Punjabi), sg (Sangro), sq (Albanian) , te (Tegulu). The descriptions of theese components should say something like "Malayalam (or whatever language it is) native language discussions and material in the native language". Also, could we add Georgian Native-Lang project at http://projects.openoffice. org/native-lang.html list? If needed, I will create a separate issue on this. Regards, Aiet
May be I was a little quick :-/ on http://www.openoffice.org/issues/enter_bug.cgi you find the components and for this "ka", project the only comment ist, tha that component "ka" is for "ka"-issues. Some comments "is for 'xyz' native language discussions and material in the native language" are required for this and several other projects. I will add this comment and you for cc to all similar issues I created, so that you can close them all after problem is solved. Rainer
Hello Rainer, have you actually created separate issues for _all_ the languages that need descriptions? :) I guess many NL projects should thank you for this. Grüsse nach Deutschland! Aiet
Hi Okay, it's what I thought. I have a pending issue in my brain, not on issue tracker, to update the NLC page in projects/ and add the level 1/2 categories. Meanwhile, updated all forgotten project IT descriptions. louis
