Description lesley_zhang 2005-04-25 11:11:10 UTC
Insert a new slide and click on Insert --> Spreadsheet, then Impress exit...(3
times)
reopen the file with "StarSuite Document Recover" tools, the entered text
appears correctly and dates, decimal data are localized.

(Justin Kelley 9/10/2005)

My specs are as follows:
- OO 2.0 Beta
- Dell Dimension XPS PC
- Windows XP Professional SP2
- Pentium 4 3.8 GHz Processor
- 2.0 GB DDR RAM

In attempting to replicate I did the following:
- File -> New -> Presentation
- Insert -> Spreadsheet
- Populated spreadsheet with random values
- Focus returned to calling slide

Impress did not exit.

This one is difficult to replicate considering they didn’t attach the
spreadsheet they were using. I tried inserting a new spreadsheet myself with
date & decimal data, however no unexpected behavior was encountered.

If this the issue can be replicated by other users then I would consider this
one as very important as many people rely on spreadsheets to crunch their data.

I still can't reproduce the bug.
Please send me a step by step description how to reproduce the bug.
Comment 6 lesley_zhang 2005-09-21 06:34:01 UTC
platform: Window XP, Dell Optiplex GX280
1. File -> New -> Presentation
2. Insert -> Spreadsheet
3. move mouse focus returned to calling slide

The spreadsheet disappeared, and double click the spreadsheet, the impress
crashed and exited.

I set this issue to duplicate of issue 58019.
Normaly we set the new bugs to duplicate of the older bug but issue 58019
contains more information for the developer.

*** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 58019 ***
