Hi,

When I launch OOo Writer I get the usual blank page but, a few seconds after,
the application disappear.
(and nothing related to OO when i try a ps -eaf)

if I insert very rapidly a few carriage return or open a file OOo writer "stays"
on screen and seems to behave well

??

mainboard MSI KT3 Ultra + AMD ATHLON 1700+
Mandrake 8.2 (Xfree86 3.3.6 + Gnome 1.4)
OOo writer from the OO website

This is a duplicate of issue 4494. See there for a workaround.  Thanks
for finding those workarounds - it makes it easy to see it's
definately your problem.

As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved duplicate
issues. Please see this posting for details. First step in IssueZilla is
unfortunately to set them to verified.
