Description scarr 2005-04-12 20:40:12 UTC
I am getting a weird issue where at the top of a page, I get "<<<<<<< index.html
<<<<<<< index.html <<<<<<< index.html <<<<<<< index.html <<<<<<< index.html
<<<<<<< index.html <<<<<<< index.html <<<<<<< index.html <<<<<<< index.html
<<<<<<< index.html <<<<<<< index.html <<<<<<< index.html <<<<<<< index.html
<<<<<<< index.html <<<<<<< index.html <<<<<<< index.html <<<<<<< index.html
<<<<<<< index.html <<<<<<< index.html <<<<<<< index.html <<<<<<< index.html
<<<<<<< index.html <<<<<<< index.html <<<<<<< index.html <<<<<<< index.html
<<<<<<< index.html <<<<<<< index.html <<<<<<< index.html <<<<<<< index.html
<<<<<<< index.html <<<<<<< index.html <<<<<<< index.html <<<<<<< index.html
<<<<<<< index.html <<<<<<< index.html <<<<<<< index.html <<<<<<< index.html
<<<<<<< index.html".

Please see the URL for an example.

If you look at the Version History for this file that series of characters
doesn't appear anywhere. It looks as if the site is adding it for some reason.

I have since created a new page, thinking a refresh of the cache would help, but
the refresh hasn't occured in over 2 hours.

routing to support.

btw, this may be coincidental, but all dynamic pages seem really slow to me.

I have noticed the pages being slow as well. I just attributed it to my network
connection. (Which is usually very fast....)
Comment 3 scarr 2005-04-12 23:15:22 UTC
Now the page has lost all formating and it appears in the Title.

Seems like some strange things are going on...

I did a research on this issue and it seems to me there is two issues

1)The commits or modifiction which we make to the index.html is not getting
refresh or reflected in the page .

2)Is the main issue that is <<<<appearing in the page .

Filing a internal issue to the engineers to look into the issue for more
research on the issue .

I am seeing this problem now at the bottom of the page.

I just recently modified the page to conform to xhtml, and saw this appearing at
the bottom.
