Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 4649
OpenOffice MIME types rejected by IssueZilla attachement uploader
Last modified: 2008-05-17 23:44:10 UTC
application/vnd.sun.xml.calc is rejected as "this MIME type simply doesn't do" or sth. similar when chosen as MIME type for the file one wants to attach to his Issue
issues@openoffice.org seems to be very lazy* judging from the number of seemingly untouched posts on http://www.openoffice.org/issues/buglist.cgi? component=www&subcomponent=openoffice.org%20Issuezilla I'm therefore redirecting to you. And I want to steer your attention to http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=4254 I and I think many others have ascertained the same facts. * Who is to be contacted for what? see also http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=4661 P.s.: An issue I posted to IssueZillas issue list (one of very few "proj.s" which has one (it's its url which is the first of this comment)) didn't pop up there ! http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=4659
I'm confused about what the request in this issue is. Also, Stefan is in charge of re-assigning to support. Re-assigning to Stefan for perusal.
The Request is : Make IssueZilla accept your own MIME - types ! for context: see Summary ! The comment is a comment about YOUR ORGANISATION ! Do you know what is happening and how the "You've got mail" comes about? In few words: Your comm. with outside world interface is a joke ! (read the mentioned posts! Read them!) (and excuse the how-the-expressions-sound )
I'm not the only one with valid requests :-) Lars, please use the default owner of components. As a workaround, does "binary file" work? IZ seems to accept a preconfigured list of mime types for attachments only. Mime types for OOo documents are not accepted.
i'm on it - coalan asked for something similar.
Ok; work seems to be done here; I'm closing :-)
