I have a .doc document that does not open in Open Office 1.0. Just nothing 
happens when I try to open. This document opens perfectly with MS Wordview. The 
document is simple, with texts and some tables. I also tried with Star Office 
5.2 in a Red Hat 7.1, and the exact same thing happened. I´m new here and I 
don´t know if it´s possible to attach files here, but if someone want this 
file, you can ask me by the email andreqos@plug-in.com.br.

The document is a Winword 2.0 document. The word 2.0 filter StarOffice
5.2 contains is a third-party-filter. OpenOffice does not contain ANY
third-party-filters because of legal limitations.
