Description Unknown 2002-05-08 14:19:11 UTC
It would be nice if, for the "minimal install", it told you what you were losing
over the "typical install" and the "typical install" said what it was excluding
vs. a full install of all components. Windows installers, which you seem to be
emulating, virtually never do this, but there's no reason to emulate flaws as
well as good points. This description could be displayed only when you select
the minimum or typical install in order to avoid cluttering the screen with too
much information.

Hi Falko,
can we give more information on the help button?
Comment 2 falko.tesch 2003-10-01 10:31:41 UTC
Provide more information on different installation options.
Example: If the user chooses minimalist installation give her a little
help (button) that displays information about what is installed and
what not.

To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on
my owner to the owner "requirements".
