It would be awsome if the default setting for all the programs in the open
office suite were such that the automatic save is on and every 10 minutes or so.
 I just lost a paper since I neglected to save it and my computer restarted it's
self.  Had the default setting been such that the paper were saved every 10
minutes I would have only lost a small percentage of the paper.

Against this enhancement request: it would be quite enoying to have a Save as
dialog coming for each new document the user opens. Maybe one does not want to
save it, just copy paste something or whatever...

It's one of the basics of working with computers: save your work if you want to
keep it!
