Description bmarcelly 2005-03-20 20:07:21 UTC
1 - Tools > Macros > Run Macros
2 - click to open library Depot within OpenOffice.org Macros
3 - See the list of modules : it is _not_ in alphabetical order
4 - Cancel Macro Selector dialogue
5 - Tools > Macros > Organize Macros > OOo Basic
6 - click to open library Depot from OpenOffice.org Macros
7 - See the list of modules : it is in alphabetical order
8 - The Organizer also shows the modules in alphabetical order

Creating a new library with modules renamed shows that Run Macros dialogue lists the
modules in order of creation instead of the alphabetical order.

Hi bmarcelly,

thanks for using and supporting openOffice.org...

I reassign this issue to jsk

mci -> jsk
Hi jsk, I think this is in you area, please take over...

Confirmed, Depot is listed before currency and commonlang.
I'm not certain whther this is a bug or a feature.
For OpenOffice.org internal macros this is a bug, for User-created macros that
would be a feature.

jsk->tbe: Any ideas? Did we fix this in some spec?
I've set the target to 2.0.2 and prio to 4, this is not a killer.

"I'm not certain whther this is a bug or a feature."
OOo 2.0 is now very like any Microsoft product : design errors are called "features"

Note that in the Basic IDE, modules tabs are displayed in alphabetical order. If you
rename a module it will be automatically placed in alphabetical order. Creation order
is absolutely irrelevant to the user.
