Description imi84 2005-03-18 16:55:08 UTC
As I see I can't insert arbitrary character of an arbitrary font set as easily
as it can be done outside formula editor. Maybe you must consider that user may
want to insert any character of (e.g.) OpenSymbol font, and many of them has
weird representative in other fonts, so this special character insert should
have a Syntax that can deal with hexadecimal ascii codes.

It sound like an enhancement.
Please explain, step by step, what you do, get and expect.

OO Math does not offer a "Special character" dialog like Writer or Calc.
Reassigned to requirements.
