Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 45074
Page Size setting to anything larger than A3 not possible
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:12:27 UTC
Within StarCalc only the page formats A4 and A3 are defined (among others). The user is not able to select larger page formats like DIN A2, DIN A1 and DIN A0. We have here a TDS600 (A0 plotter) and we got some pretty problems with OpenOffice 1.1.4 concerning these restrictions. Another way is to select the printer, change the layout definition in the printer dialog and then StarCalc knows about this page layout - but does not know about larger DIN A2/1/0 sizes. Most interesting StarDraw offers me DIN A0, A1, A2 when creating a new document.
Normally Spreadsheets aren't printed on papers larger than DIN A3. Currently you can set the papersize manually by entering the dimensions under Formt page.
I've been facing this need also today with Writer m225, just wanted to produce a poster with A1 size, and was unable to find in the size list. Even if I can set the "custom" dimension, I think that having A0-A5 range (or beyond) is very useful. For instance, KWord does support the entire Ax range, just putting the most common formats (A3-A5) on top of the pickup list. Also looks trivial to fix.
Seems to be duplicate to issue 4219, which is fixed. The feature will be available in version 2.3, coming in autumn. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 4219 ***
