Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:42:16 UTC
1.open a new document in openoffice writer. 2.To insert the tableclick on the table menu and select insert table option. 3.In Insert table dialog box select 2 columns and 400 rows. 4.select header rows option and set it to 50. Intially it appears that the table is inserted but then writer stops responding and starts corrupting memory . it consumes 213 mb of memory in just thre minutes.

My mistake... reopened issue...
MRU->OS: we should somehow set a maximum of "header rows" in the tble dialog to prevent such messy (and completely senseless) scenarios. Maybe the max value could be relative to page height (height_of_textarea x 2) or even a fixed value.
->mru: I dislike prevention of senseless values in the UI when it's still possible to set the same senseless values via API or in the file format. Target changed to OOo 2.01 ->fme: I'd prefer to have the bug fixed.
FME->MRU: Takes some time (~2min) but works with SRC680m86. 50 rows repeated headlines already exceed the lower page margin. Therefore there will be only one regular row per page, which results in table that spans over 351 pages, which of course takes some time to layout. I consider this issue 'invalid'.
Won't be fixed. Setting large amount of header rows needs its time format in the document. Working on this will be too mmuch effort for making program less sensitive on user entries which do not make sense.
