Description pvmierlo 2005-03-04 21:33:51 UTC
When printing a table containing a cell containing an enhanced metafile, the
metafile does not print (box containing "read-error" is displayed instead.
After printing, the display is also permanently corrupted (as if the metafile
has been destroyed).

Problem occurs on OOo 2.0 beta as well.

Reassigned to HI.

Confirmed on WinXP Pro SP2 with OOo680_m93 (most recent dev build). However,
that's only a partial confirmation - it does display "Read-Error" on the printed
sheet, but the display stays the same.
Comment 5 h.ilter 2005-04-21 09:18:17 UTC
The picture on bugdoc is very fragile.
It disappears also by reduce or enlarge the display or hide and bring back by
scrolling.
Workaround at current is to reload the file.

FME->THB: Please have a look.
Comment 7 thb 2005-05-17 12:01:22 UTC
Seems that the Graphic swapout went recursive; break on ImpGraphic::ImplSwapOut(
SvStream* pOStm ) and watch the GfxLink, being already swapped out, swapping
itself out again...
Comment 8 thb 2005-05-17 12:04:05 UTC
Note: this doesn't work for 1.1.4, too. There, even the initial import yields an
empty graphic ("read error").
Comment 9 thb 2005-05-27 23:39:18 UTC
Due to resource constraints, this issue was retargeted,
Comment 10 thb 2008-06-27 12:00:35 UTC
This issue still occurs in recent dev300 versions.

@fme: please take this one back - I would guess this is a corner case in Writer
graphics handling, haven't seen anything like that in Draw/Impress.
