Description palecekj 2002-04-29 15:29:04 UTC
I have an eight pages long document containing about two hundred formulas. When I open this document using OpenOffice and the GDI resources of my computer went down (see attachment). I have a P166 MMX with 128 MB ram.

(rewrited)
When I open the document only for printing, the resources go down
when "Adapt objects" is on the statusbar and then when the file is
printed

Jiri: I think that a document shows more than a screenshot. Please
attach one. Reassigned to Michael.

The bug can be reproduced this way: Start with a new document, insert
a formula and duplicate it using cut and paste. When I start filling
the third line, the system crashes with lack of GDI resources.

I have realized that inserting MS clipart object doesn't cause this
resource leak, so I think that it is a bug in starmath (although
I thout it was a bug in starwriter).

Yours sincerely Jiri Palecek

The bug appears to be fixed in OOo 1.0
Comment 6 michael.ruess 2002-09-05 13:25:11 UTC
Yes, that might be right. We fixed some problems regarding Formula and
memory. I couldn't either reproduce this with OO 1.0. So I close this
issue.
