Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 42362
undefined symbol: xmlTextReaderConstName
Last modified: 2005-02-10 08:19:22 UTC
I'm sorry, but don't know right component and use Installation :( $ /opt/openoffice.org1.9.77/program/scalc /opt/openoffice.org1.9.77/program/soffice.bin: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libgnomevfs-2.so.0: undefined symbol: xmlTextReaderConstName $ rpm -qf /usr/lib/libgnomevfs-2.so.0 gnome-vfs2-2.9.90-1
Please be a litte bit more detailed: What happens exactly? Only with scalc?
I was getting this error last night when I click the FileOpen button to browse my PC for a file to open. I unfortunately can't reproduce it this morning - instead OOo simply dies with no error at all. This isn't just from scalc - mine was doing it from swriter, and I assume it has something to do with the gnome open / save dialog box that appears when you press load / save.
Yes. I had /dev/brain off at that moment in evening :) Current Fedora Core. OpenOffice 1.9.77. I think bug with Gnome integration. Just I run swriter and press save (empty new document). I get: $ /opt/openoffice.org1.9.77/program/swriter libgnomevfs-ERROR **: file gnome-vfs-cancellation.c: line 133 (gnome_vfs_cancellation_cancel): assertion failed: (gnome_vfs_is_primary_thread()) aborting... I had to kill openoffice after this because I wasn't able to stop recovering message by pressing "Cancel" button. I can take any answer if you need. $ rpm -qa|fgrep openofficeorg openofficeorg-core07-1.9.77-1 openofficeorg-calc-1.9.77-1 openofficeorg-testtool-1.9.77-1 openofficeorg-math-1.9.77-1 openofficeorg-core03-1.9.77-1 openofficeorg-xsltfilter-1.9.77-1 openofficeorg-core01-1.9.77-1 openofficeorg-spellcheck-1.9.77-1 openofficeorg-javafilter-1.9.77-1 openofficeorg-gnome-integration-1.9.77-1 openofficeorg-redhat-menus-1.9.77-1 openofficeorg-impress-1.9.77-1 openofficeorg-draw-1.9.77-1 openofficeorg-core06-1.9.77-1 openofficeorg-graphicfilter-1.9.77-1 openofficeorg-core08-1.9.77-1 openofficeorg-core05-1.9.77-1 openofficeorg-core02-1.9.77-1 openofficeorg-writer-1.9.77-1 openofficeorg-core04-1.9.77-1
That's a known issue with the gnome filepicker in this version. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 41437 ***
See issue 41437 for details. Workaround is to use the OOo file picker
