The attached MS Word 2000 document, which was saved with its "allow fast saves" 
feature enabled, crashes Writer 641d. First I get the message "An unrecoverable 
error has occurred. All modified files have been saved and can probably be 
recovered at program restart." This is followed by "The instruction 
at '0x1e2d9f87' referenced memory at '0x06841008'. The memory could not 
be 'read'."

I've tried removing pieces of the document in MS Word to try to make it 
simpler, but any change I make causes the problem to disappear.

I do not have any problem when importing this file into OpenOffice.
Could you pülease check if the problem still occurs on your system
with OpenOffice 1.0.1 or 643? Meanwhile there have been some fixes
regarding Fast-save-issues. If the problem still occurs, ropen the issue.

I was away without email for the Thanksgiving vacation, and so 
didn't respond as quickly as you wanted, apparently. I have now 
verified that this crash is fixed In OOo 1.1.
