Description Unknown 2002-04-23 06:33:37 UTC
I had trouble with the formula editor running from within
the Word Processor. It was displaying the wrong characters.

Reading the bugs boards, I was able to remove the existing
Open Symbol Font, and then do a repair with the install program.

The problem with the solutions to bugs 2938 and 3195 is that they
assume that the Open Symbol font preexisted on the computer before
the 641d install.

I did not have that font, and yet still had problems.

Thanks for checking this out.

ES->MRU: a statement?

Yes, it is a known problem that some (unicode-)fonts are not displayed
incorretly. Issue #9917, which is already assigned to a developer,
describes the problem, too. Thus I close this one.
