do start macro recording
click on the bottom double arrow under vertical scroll bar
stop macro recording 
nothing was recorded

Also, there is no entry under configure for keyboard for continue search
forwards, which is actually what I wanted - assigning the standard F3 to to find
next link behaviour.

please recheck your finding with the latest stable version 1.1.4 available from
http://www.OpenOffice.org and let us know if the issue may be resolved.

hi, I have tried it on 1.1.4 and m74. For example, start new 1.1.4 document,
press return 100 times, say, try recording, click on the double arrows (bottom
or top) for navigation under vertical scrollbar, stop recording, no dialogue box
appears to give a name to the macro

sad but true. 
However, the Macro recorder badly needs a complete redesign, we will not
implement this functionality for OOo 1.x or 2.x, please refer to the OOo PCDs to
find out why.
There is a big catch-all issue #20046, i add this feature to the list and set it
to wontfix (it will reemerge as soon as i start evaluating the macro recorder
issues)
