Description shumisha 2005-01-26 17:04:01 UTC
See sample attached file : loading an MSWord (2003) file in OOo 1.9.71.1 which
has a table with the "attached paragraph" option set is not respected. Sorry I
am using a french version of Word, I do not know how this option is called in
English versions. I am talking about selecting several lines or rows of a table,
selecting Format/Paragraph then the second tab ("linking?") then set "atached
paragraph" so that if we are at the end of a page, then the whole set of rows
will move to the next page instead of being split : a few rows on a page and the
rest of the table on the next page.
If you do this is MSWord, then the table behaves as stated above.
If this file is loaded in OOo 1.9.71.1, then the table is split between two pages.
Open the attached file in OOo and just add a few CR before the table so that the
last row reaches the end of the page. When it does, then hit a few more CR and
the last rows of the table will move to the next page whereas the first ones
will stay on page one. In MSWord, if you do the same, as soon as the last row of
the table reaches the end of a page, the whole table jumps to the next page,
which is the desired behavior.

MRU->AMA: this is analogue to internal #i117910 (which is for RTF).But IMO we
should somehow implement the same and not only tweak filters...
