Description rhodesnet 2005-01-18 00:38:33 UTC
I have not been able to print addresses on envelopes correctly. Addresses
print in portrait orientation no matter the setting. The font size arbitrarily
reduces. This occurred with a dell laser printer and a lexmark inkjet.

rerassigned to HI. Lowered Prio to level 3. Level 2 is reserved for application
crashes and hangs or other reasons causing loss of data.

HI->rhodesnet: The font size arbitrarily reduces?
Did you print at the PagePreview-Modus? Please describe in step by step detail
what you did, which envelope format etc. A screenshot which shows the failure
would be nice.

I also have envelope problems. OOo 2.0 Beta (1.9.79) on XP Pro SP2.

I Insert/Envelope. Select the second to last option in Envelope Orientation on
the Printer tab. Insert a picture that is flush with the paper and about a 1/4
inch of my graphic does not print. The graphic is also not flush with the top
left side of the envelope like Word does. Also the address I am sending to is
not in the center of the envelope as it appears to be in print preview.

When you Insert/Envelope and select the second to last option in Envelope
Orientation is there supposed to be two inches of white space with a gray line
right below the approximate two inches. Below the gray line is the
automatically inserted text boxes in what appears to be the actual envelope size.

Orientation problems here as well. Under WindowsXP, I've had this prob for a
dozen builds, since I started using the m builds, around m60.

Using a Lexmark X6170 printer, nothing I do will cause a #10 envelope to print
in landscape. I could design my own template to circumvent this, if I could
figure how to rotate text boxes 90 degrees, but I don't see how to do that either.

Before printing, I've clicked printer settings and selected #10 envelope,
landscape (or portrait); I've let OOo tell the printer which page size and
orientation to use. Nothing helps.
