I've got an EOF error while unzip the tar ball.
I issued "tar -zxvf" with the downloaded file from openoffice.org but got an error
at the end. So I could not install OpenOffice at all.
Please fix the issue.

Thanks,
-T.

I had that problem too. I typed, "tar -xzvf", and since it also got
the EOF error, I tried downloading it again from the exact same place,
and then it worked alright.

Your problem might be different.

Looks for me like a damaged download.
