Last modified: 2006-05-31 14:29:06 UTC
Hello I am on debian (SID) and I followed the instruction for installing OO.19.x. I also installed j2re1.4.2_02. I configured it in openoffice.org1.9.65, tools->configuration However when I tried to generate a new database (in order to test the hsql database) I got the error message that the java installation is defect, then OO crased and the following error message appeared on the console --8<------------------------schnipp------------------------->8--- Error occurred during initialization of VM Unable to load native library: libjvm.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory JavaVM: JNI_CreateJavaVM called _exit, caught by abort_handler in javavm.cxx Can not create JavaVirtualMachine, abort handler was calledCan not create Java Virtual MachineCan not create Java Virtual MachineCan not create Java Virtual Machine --8<------------------------schnapp------------------------->8--- regards Uwe Brauer PS since it is a crash I set priority to 5 I hope this is fine.
