Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 3994
Problem with the french accents like ô or ö
Last modified: 2012-01-29 21:40:50 UTC
Typically French problem both in an OpenCalc spreadsheet and in a OpenWriter text. When I'm writing a word like "être" or "vôtre" with the keyboard I used to do it with the "^" key and then the "o" key (which write "ô") It was working with the StarOffice 5.2 and in earlier version of OpenOffice (but I don't remember exactly which) I can still do it right by using the menu Insert/Special Character/latin-1 with the current font (it works with times and many others) All the other writer I'm using are OK woth the french accents.
