The current Notes feature in writer (the little yellow boxes in the text) are
looking rather lacking compared to recent MS-Office.

When editing a hardcopy document by hand, I would highlight text by drawing a
vertical line along side particular paragraphs, then add notes in the margin. It
would be great is something similar were possible in OpenOffice. The "vertical
margin line" to highlight text is cleatly possible,as it is used by the Track
Changes Function. Textbox callouts in the margins, for Notes, are what's needed
to implement this.
