Description peschtra 2004-12-17 02:03:02 UTC
In the task bar in 1.9.65 it just has a bunch of xxxxxxxx where it used to say
OpenOffice.org. This happens when multiple things are open and it compresses them.

I think it looked better the old way.

I have attached a picture.

SBA: On WinXP, when an application has only one task is open (in this
screenshot, Document1 in Word), the file name is shown (first).

When the task bar "compresses", it "sorts" all tasks and "piles them up",
showing only the application name and how many tasks of the respective app are
open (small orange digits, as in the screenshot).

So the screenshot looks like 680m65 is no "good citizen" on WinXP compared to
OOo 1.1.X that is running on the same machine.

Note: I can see TWO Quickstart icons of OOo 1.9.6X on the right side. Could be a
repaint issue but it could also be a "zombie" process interfering with an
"active" one.

SB A->TM: As discussed, please proceed.

Dupe.

I beleive there are two icons, because 1.9.65 crashed on me. Then I reopened it
and both QS icons were there.
