Description christian.guenther 2004-12-15 13:41:01 UTC
- the file is on
mahler:/automat/qatesttool/framework/filedlg/input/readentry/schach.sdd
- load the file on linux and you get a crash.
- other .sdd-files works greate.

AW: Taking a look. It would be nice to append the file next time.
Comment 2 Armin Le Grand 2005-01-19 20:23:57 UTC
AW: Works with windows, installing linux version for test purposes...
Comment 3 Armin Le Grand 2005-01-20 16:44:15 UTC
AW: Indeed, crash under linux. Tesing with a SO5.2 created *.sdd file.
Comment 4 Armin Le Grand 2005-01-20 17:59:23 UTC
AW: Further testing reveals: There is a popup-box stating "This operation is not
supported on this operating system". Looking where this string comes from. As
can be seen behind that box, file loading works well. So it has nothing to do
with file loading. Maybe framework, maybe vcl linux relevant ? I will look...
Comment 5 Armin Le Grand 2005-01-20 18:33:07 UTC
AW: Found text in /svtools/source/misc/errtxt.src. It's flagged as
ERRCODE_IO_NOTSUPPORTED, so my tip is framework.
AW->MBA: It's after loading, i guess the framework somehow wants to establish a
read access to the loaded file, maybe a lock?

I think this was supposed to go somewhere else than to me..
Reassigned.
Comment 7 Mathias_Bauer 2005-01-21 13:30:37 UTC
The problem is that this file tries an AutoRefresh, but reloading of r/i files
is broken (issue 40220).
Comment 8 Mathias_Bauer 2005-01-21 13:32:11 UTC
Christian, the crash doers not appear if the file is not physically readonly.
