Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 38871
ahelp without hid?
Last modified: 2005-01-24 16:05:06 UTC
Hi, helpcontent2/source/text/sbasic/shared/01/06130500.xhp contains pavel@pavel:~/.ooo/ooo_SRC680_m65_src> grep 'hid=""' helpcontent2/source/text/sb asic/shared/01/06130500.xhp <paragraph role="paragraph" id="par_id3154840" xml-lang="en-US" l10n="U" oldref="2"><ahelp hid="">Locate that <item type="productname">%PRODUCTNAME</item> Basic library that you want to add to the current list, and then click Open.</ahelp></paragraph> pavel@pavel:~/.ooo/ooo_SRC680_m65_src> So there is no HID. Looks like bug, because almost the same string is in: elpcontent2/source/text/sbasic/shared/01/06130000.xhp: <ahelp hid="BASCTL_PUSHBUTTON_RID_TP_LIBS_RID_PB_APPEND" visibility="visible">Locate that $[officename] Basic library that you want to add to the current list, and then click Open.</ahelp>
The Help ID may not have been available at that stage (we're still inserting help ids). In any case, in the current implementation, you can leave out the HID in ahelp. The help compiler will assign a <ahelp> element to any preceding <bookmark branch="hid/..." /> help id. This is to account for the fact that the current implementation of the ahelp element does not allow multiple help ids to be assigned to one help text. So it's ugly but working. It also has the advantage that we can introduce help ids without any Localization impact outside of paragraphs. I will update the help authoring guide to include hints.
