Hi,
  I just installed openoffice on a windows 2000 machine and it works great for 
the administrator account.  But when I try and run it as a regular user it 
tells me that it cant find c:\documents and settings\username\local 
settings\application data\somefile.ini.  Sorry I forgot the exact name of the 
file.  It started with an s if that's any help.

It is not an issue in OOo641, it is as it should be in this version.
Making a network installation first and then a workstation
installation for every user.
It's not possible to make a standard installation as administrator for
every user. We are thinking of a change for later versions.
