Description oleaa 2004-11-25 16:20:46 UTC
It is possible to get the Data Source properties for a document, but not to set
these from StarBasic.

In mail merge operations, we would like to exchange and apply a Data Source to
the current Text document programmatically from a StarBasic macro. Currently
this is not possible to implement in OpenOffice.org 1.1-2.0. Our users must
manually open the dialog "Edit - Exchange Database", select the Data Source and
click "Define" in this dialog, and then finally select "Tools - Mail Merge".
Quite ackward.

I would like to have API functions available to set the Data Source name and
table access property dynamically for the currently open Text document.
