Open the About dialog, from the menu "Help-->About OpenOffice.org", then press
Ctrl+S+D+T for scroll the text down.
If you hidden it with another window and return, the build number does not
appear anymore.

I've also seen this on StarOffice 7 Update 4 on Linux.  For me, the build
version updates, but not the names of the developers that come after it.  Should
be easy to fix, I think it's just a matter of using the same draw method for the
build version and the rest of the text -- though that might not fix the issue on
Windows.

It would also be nice to have the about box close on any click afterwards, there
is no guarantee the window manager/system provides one.

I think it is an issue with scrolling. You can reporuduce it on any part of credits.
